From the recording 1968 Unreleased
The band only had one recording session in a studio back in the late 60s. The intention was to release a single. After recording the two tracks that they hoped to release as a single, Phil Edwards, David Peace & Bruno Sampson stayed behind to record Parchman Farm, which I believe first recorded by Bukka White and later adapted by Mose Allison.
Only three of the band, all now sadly passed, played on the original recording. David Peace, who played keys, also played a little bit of rhythm guitar, but I thought it really needed some twiddling. So I tried to play a few licks and the solo in the style that we played back then.
David Peace – Vocals, Keys and Guitar
