From the recording Work in Progress

Here's a rough demo we did of an original from me.
It's called After the Storm and is about the aftermath of the Newport Chartist Riot in November 1839.

I wrote the song in D-Minor, which is supposed to be the 'saddest' chord. This presented us a bit of an issue in that it was a little bit high for Adrian. So, Ted stepped in and is both singing and playing the electronic drums on this demo.

If we did manage to get around to recording another album, this would be place after the song Westgate, which covers the riot. The contrast between both voices would be a bonus.

Some nice tinkling from Bob, who also supplied the stormy wind effects at the beginning

If you listen closely, you can hear Andy and me shouting instructions to help.
